Draconis...
Best...freakin\'...game...ever.
As an avid gamer
for the past 10+ years, I\'ve made it my business to learn about the
best games there are on the market. Pax Draconis rates high.
For
the beginner, you\'ll be pleasantly surprised at how easy the rules are
to understand. Simple numbers, simple system...that\'s all there is.
Also, the game offers an element of freedom that many other RPGs seem to
limit. There is enough timeline to understand the history and motives of
the galaxy, but enough leeway where a GM (storyteller) can make each
session his own.
The variety of races, the unique \"classes\"
(Career areas instead of a single job title), and the Savants (mystical
beings fused with hyperspace beings) make this a well rounded and detailed
game.
With future expansions to come, the game can only get
better. (
